At the Coffee Machine
It all began with a cup, actually 2 small paper cups - white from the inside, with graffiti like prints on the outside. Like best friends they support one another. Alone they might not have been able to handle it, but united they are strong.
This paper cup bond meets two perfect snow-white cubes of sugar. Perfectly polished, devoid of bagasse, they tumble down into the cup, one besides the other.
A while later, you can hear the grinding as coffee beans in the transparent casing slide to replace their friends. And then with a slurping noise the brown liquid oozes down into the cup. The sugar cubes absorbing every drop, turning brown from bottom up until there is no more of white remaining.
Moments later, a foggy mist appears above the cup, like the magician conjuring up for a show and then in the blink of the eye, the hot white milk has drowned the cubes. The cubes giving away their sweetness in this beautiful amalgamation of milk and coffee, the sacrifice to reduce the bitterness shall be remembered, as the dark brown shades move towards light.
A little swirl with the steam sent from the nozzle besides, and then it is ready.
Now we are all set to enjoy the conversation, over a small cup of coffee.
Enjoy the coffee, Macha! Have a good time 😉
