Blogiversary

Hello and Happy New Year.

Today, it has been 1 full year since I started this blog. Can't believe I maintained a blog for an entire year, 365 days, no wait 366 days, sounds quiet a number.

Agreed, I have not been a regular but 43 posts in a year does mean something. Right?

When I tell people I write a blog, the first thing that comes up is 'What is the blog about?'. People always have a perception that a blog should be specific to something. Maybe that is the way of it. And so I feel proud to have a blog on nothing specific.

I started blog with the intention of making some money out of it. And to make money you need ads, which I started recently here. Ads need to be clicked, which never happens here and so I made 0 out of this blog, except for a few vouchers from the contests.

So, am I unhappy with it??

Nopes. I might have started the blog from greed to earn some extra bucks but now its become more of a leisure, a hobby. And as hobby I plan to continue it in future, with no greed. Money, no money, it doesn't matter. Only thing that matters now is that the blog must go on.

Last year, I had a humorous tale posted: Story of Evolution. For which I did get some good feedback and so this year I might come up with something new. So keep following.

The One With The Coastal Ride

It was 7:30 in the morning of 4th March, 2017 at Chandni Chowk, Pune. 22 people on 18 rides set out for a journey of different sorts. I was also there, like a ghost among the 22 different souls. Thirty minutes into the start and I was thinking, 'Did I make a mistake joining this journey? Do I make some lame excuse and go back home?' This trip was definitely out of my comfort zone. Kasarsai Dam and Beyond

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Famous proverb, agreed by many, followed by few. Well, I'm one of those, who follows this from the heart. And I have my own version of it. It goes something like this No road trip, makes roy ma sad boy. Pretty lame, huh. If you have anything better, do mention it in the comments. So this time, I set out on a trip to Kasarsai Dam with my friend Zeyn . One does not always ride solo, cause even Han Solo is not solo. He always has Chewbacca for company. (For those who don't know Han Solo and Chewbacca, go watch Star Wars). And yes, me and Zeyn are like Han Solo and Chewie. Okay. Now coming back to the trip. Rashtrapati Bhavan goes Missing

The sun is yet to come out, its raining heavily and he has just disconnected a call when the phone rings again. "Hello. Yes I'm on my way. In the rick. They are waiting there", he replies partly yawning and then disconnects. Two different thoughts - Oh man, how I miss my sleep. Haha, fashionably late for a person living so close - running through his head. In a few minutes Mr R is at the airport. At the gate are Miss A, Miss M and Mr H waiting for him.
